The Irish Jewish community has made a tremendous contribution to the country, Ireland’s prime minister said. Speaking during a visit to the Irish Jewish Museum in Dublin, Bertie Ahern praised the Jews’ role in the development of Irish life, especially in the first half of the 20th century, when the country experienced significant Jewish immigration from Eastern Europe.
