The Kibbutz-owned Netafim Drip Irrigation company has signed an agreement with the Aqua-Nova Company in the U.S. for the sale and introduction of $5.5 million worth of drip irrigation equipment to irrigate 10,000 acres of Arizona land planted with cotton. The Netafim company, owned by the kibbutzim of Hatzerim, Magal and Yiftah, will send some experts to Arizona to oversee the initial period of the system’s use.
