The leader of Austria’s far-right Freedom Party, Suzanne Riess-Passer, is planning a visit to Israel in an effort to mend fences with the Jewish state, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. Israel recalled its ambassador from Austria after the party was included in the Austrian government in February 2000.
