The massacre of 11 Israeli Olympic athletes in Munich in 1972 had a tragic echo here over the weekend when the mother of one of the victims took her own life. Police disclosed the suicide Saturday of Mrs. Hiriya Romano, 60, whose son, Yosef Romano, a member of the Israeli weight-lifting team, was murdered by Palestinian terrorists at Munich two-and-a-half years ago. She is survived by her husband and eight children.
