The Muslim Council of Britain urged London to unfreeze the assets of a charity that has been linked to Hamas. Britain moved against Interpal after the Treasury Department froze its assets in the United States last month. A British Foreign Office spokesman said “proper legal procedures are in place and those legal procedures will be followed,” after Foreign Secretary Jack Straw met the Muslim delegation on Wednesday.
