The new leader of Rio de Janeiro’s Jewish community pledged to set up a 24-hour hotline to monitor anti-Semitism. Osias Wurman, who was elected in Sunday’s voting, said the hotline would also function as a Jewish informational service.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
