The Ohr Somayach outreach organization has begun constructing a new building to expand its Jewish studies program. Expected to be completed in February 2008, the multi-use facility in Monsey, N.Y., will accommodate married couples and young singles taking part in the group’s weekend and weeklong study retreats. Ohr Somayach also is offering a $500,000 international scholarship competition to its yeshiva for the 2007-08 school year.
