The Palestinian Authority foreign minister said peace with Israel is more likely if John Kerry becomes U.S. president. “Bush has promised to revive the peace process if he is elected, but with the current views held by the team of advisers around him, this does not look possible,” Nabil Sha’ath told the Palestinian newspaper Al-Hayat on Monday. “If Kerry is elected, it can be reasonably assumed that several of those who advised former President Clinton will return.”
