The Palestinian Authority’s prime minister called for an end to the “armed intifada” against Israel. Speaking at the end of a 90-minute summit Wednesday with President Bush, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Jordan’s King Abdullah, Mahmoud Abbas called for an end to attacks on Israelis “wherever they may be,” including settlers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
