The publisher of the Curious George books is suing Jews for Jesus over the missionary group’s use of the irrepressible monkey. Houghton Mifflin says Jews for Jesus is infringing on the Curious George copyright by using the monkey’s image in pamphlets used for proselytizing. The pamphlets use images identical to those used in the classic childhood series, including “Curious George Rides a Bike.”
