The Reform and Reconstructionist movements joined Christian and Muslim leaders in calling on President Bush to make Middle East peace a larger priority. In a letter to Bush on Tuesday, the National Interreligious Leadership Initiative for Peace urged the United States not to act “precipitously to cut off aid to the Palestinian people.”
