The remains of what may be a Roman stadium were unearthed on the grounds of a hotel in Tiberias. Israel’s Antiquities Authority dated the building to the first century C.E. and said it is possible it was mentioned in the writings of Josephus Flavius, the Jerusalem Post reported.
