The spiritual leader of Israel’s fervently Orthodox Shas Party called Prime Minister Ehud Barak a “blind fox” for his apparent attempt to keep former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu out of the upcoming election. Reminded that he once called Netanyahu a “blind goat,” Rabbi Ovadia Yosef said that at least a goat is ritually pure, while a fox is not.
