The trial and conviction of Holocaust deniers in 2006 helped deter Holocaust denial, a new report said. The David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies released its report, “Holocaust Denial: A Global Survey-2006,” this week.

Immigration to Israel is at an 18-year low. The Jewish Agency for Israel said Thursday that 21,000 foreign Jews immigrated in 2006, the lowest annual figure since 1988.
