The U.N. high commissioner for human rights is slated to begin a visit to the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Wednesday to investigate the violence there that has killed more than 170 people during the past five weeks. Mary Robinson said she hopes to meet Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat during her weeklong trip.
