The U.N. Security Council called on Israel to withdraw from West Bank cities “without delay.” Following the council’s sixth meeting in 10 days about the Middle East, its 15 member-nations issued a statement Sunday night saying, “The continuation of violence by the power in control of the events on the ground is unacceptable.”
