The U.N. Security Council will debate a resolution condemning Israel’s assassination of Hamas’ leader. The Security Council was slated to vote on the Algerian-sponsored resolution Thursday afternoon, which condemns Israel’s killing of Sheik Ahmed Yassin and “calls for a complete cessation of extra-judicial killings.” The United States likely will veto the resolution.
