The U.S. Air Force secretary told Jewish leaders of plans to teach religious tolerance throughout the military branch. Michael Wynne met Thursday with several leaders of Jewish organizations to discuss guidelines issued last month on religious tolerance and expression at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. and throughout the Air Force. While several Jewish groups had expressed concerns that the revised guidelines allowed for more religiously oriented discussion in the Air Force than a previous version crafted last August, Air Force leaders said the language had been condensed so the guidelines could fit on a single page, making them more focused.
