The U.S. government lacks evidence that a Palestinian immigrant who has been held for three years without charges raised money for a terrorist group or helped organize any violence, said a federal agent. The comments came in the trial of Mazen Al-Najjar, who helped organize a conference organized by the Islamic Committee for Palestine. Al-Najjar is hoping to be released while he appeals a deportation order.
