The U.S. State Department warned American citizens traveling in Israel to heed warnings of a possible terror attack. Citing an advisory by Israeli security officials, the State Department said Americans should “be on the alert for any suspicious packages or objects, and to report any unusual activities or observations to the police.” Israeli officials issued the initial warning after an important deadline was missed in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
