The United States deported a Palestinian who was acquitted of charges that he aided Islamic Jihad. Sameeh Hammoudeh agreed to be deported this week to the West Bank after pleading guilty to a tax fraud charge separate from the terrorist charges. Hammoudeh was acquitted of 10 charges in December.
