Ernesto Kreimerman, president of the Central Israelite Committee of Uruguay, told El Pais newspaper that these types of actions “tend to happen when there are anti-Semitic expressions on the world stage,” mentioning comments by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
