The winner of a Grammy for best reggae album comes from a family of Sephardi Jews living in Jamaica. Sean Paul’s “Dutty Rock” was awarded a Grammy on Sunday night. His father’s family are Jews from Portugal who immigrated to Jamaica in the mid-1600s.
