The World Migration Congress is Postponed

The World Migration Congress, called by the International Federation of Trade Unions and the Labor and Socialist International, which was scheduled to take place here on May 18, was postponed. The Congress will convene on June 22.

Funds to complete the Chicago building at the Jewish Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Los Angeles, Calif., are the object of a campaign for $20,000 which opened last night at a banquet at the Morrison Hotel.

One hundred and fifty Chicago organizations are cooperating in this drive, the money from which will provide a hospital, established on the cottage system.

J. Siegel, managing editor of the “Jewish Daily Forward,” is chairman of the drive.

The newly completed Temple Kenesseth Israel. of the Inwood Hebrew Congregation, was dedicated yesterday afternoon.
