Thousands of Americans, mainly Jews and World War II veterans, have cancelled vacations in West Germany since President Reagan visited the Bitburg war cemetery last Sunday. Knut Blaetermann of the German tourist promotion center in New York, told a news conference in Hamburg Monday that the cancellations resulted in hotels losing at least 200,000 overnight stays valued at several million dollars.
