M. Orts of Belgium has been appointed rapporteur to the Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations on three petitions concerning Jewish immigration in Palestine. The petitions were submitted to the Commission by the Zionist Revisionist Organization of Palestine, the Brith Kibbutz Galuyoth and the Paris Committee of Syrian Arabs.
In his report M. Orts will also consider the expressed attitude of the mandatory power Great Britain, toward the petitions.
