Tony Blair said Britain would put its weight behind efforts to end Iran’s nuclear ambitions. In a meeting Thursday with Israeli Prime Minster Ariel Sharon, the English prime minister said Great Britain would wield its influence in the European Union to ensure that Iran is not let off the hook, a spokesman for Sharon told JTA.
