The director-general of Italy’s Foreign Trade Institute said here today that Israel was an excellent potential market for Italian-made mechanical and electro-mechanical goods because of that country’s rapid industrialization. Dr. Giuseppe Scala made the remark on his return from the International Trade Fair in Tel Aviv where, he said, the celebration of Italy Day was a great success. He predicted that Italy’s trade with Israel would benefit as a result of Italy’s participation in the Fair.
