The Israel-Transjordan mixed armistice commission today agreed to return from Transjordan three Israel soldiers who were detained by the Arab Legion when they unwittingly crossed the demarcation line during a border patrol. A mixed military subcommittee will work out details for setting up mixed frontier posts and patrols in certain areas, so as to prevent border incidents.

The Cairo Radio today reported that Egyptian police ordered additional protection afforded to Azzam Pasha, secretary-general of the Arab League, who said that he had received a warning from Jewish extremists in Israel against taking any steps harmful to the Jewish state. Nathan Friedman-Yellin, leader of the militant Fighters Party in Israel which grew out of the Stern Group, confirmed to the press here today that he had sent a personal warning to Azzam Pasha.

The Israel Government this week contributed manufactured products valued at $50,000 for the relief and rehabilitation of Arab displaced persons program conducted by the United Nations.
