Twelve teen-agers from Tibet are in Israel for a three-month program in leadership training, cultural preservation and democracy, said the Jerusalem Post. The program, funded by a company that markets Dead Sea cosmetics in the United States, stemmed from a suggestion made several years ago by the Dalai Lama, Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader.
