Two anti-Semitic incidents were reported in Rio de Janeiro days before Rosh Hashanah. In one incident, eggs were thrown at a Jewish family as they were walking to synagogue. In the second incident, the word “Jew” was scrawled at the entrance to a Jewish academic’s beach house.
