Hundreds of singers from various parts of the world are participating in the fourth Zimriya, Israel’s international choir festival which opened this weekend. Particularly well received by the audience were two London choirs –the Zemel and the Male Choir — the Jewish Festival Choir of Los Angeles and the United Jewish Choir of New York. Other participating choirs were from Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, Yugoslavia, France and Italy.
