The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund today ordered from British manufacturers enough DDT to delouse 60,000 immigrants in Israel. The organization acted immediately after receiving an urgent request for the chemical from the Israel Government which intends to use it for treating immigrants from Iraq.
