Max W. Ball, ex-director of the oil and gas division of the U.S. Department of Interior, will leave for Israel to investigate oil possibilities, it was learned today. Mr. Ball, who is recognized as one of the world’s leading petroleum consultants, will complete work in Venezuela before beginning his Israel assignment, it was learned. His work in Israel will be in cooperation with the Israel Government.
