U.S. lawmakers introduced legislation honoring Simon Wiesenthal. Bills were introduced Tuesday in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives marking the Nazi hunter’s death at age 96. Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) introduced the bill in the House; Sens. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) and Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) introduced the bill in the Senate.
