James T. Nicholson, European representative of the American Red Cross, has left Geneva for Cracow, Poland, to superintend distribution of clothing and medicine dispatched from Genoa, Italy. He is the first American to reach Cracow since the outbreak of the war. The Nazi-occupied city has been the scene of much recent anti-Jewish persecution.
