The United Nations Children’s Fund has equipped 32 maternal and child welfare centers in Israel, and is scheduled to equip nine more, according to a general progress report of UNICEF work in the Middle East issued here today. Construction is now under way in Israel for two new maternal and child welfare centers which are to be completed before the end of this year, the report states.
