On the occasion of Israel’s tenth anniversary, the Governments of Uruguay and Israel have agreed to elevate the status of their diplomatic missions in each other’s capitals to embassies, the Foreign Ministry announced here today. The statement announced Uruguay’s conviction that the move would strengthen ties between the two states.
