Venezuela’s main Jewish political group praised the country’s National Journalists Institute for promoting Israeli-Venezuelan ties. The Confederation of Israelite Associations of Venezuela lauded the institute’s president, Levy Benshimol, who is Jewish, for holding a conference on Israel for Venezuelan journalists last summer.
