The Nazi authorities have decided to ship all the Jews in Vienna to Poland, in line with Adolf Hitler’s reported plan to set up a Jewish region in German-occupied Polish territory, it was reported today from Vienna.

The first group will be shipped on Wednesday, it was said.

(Approximately 100,000 Jews live in Vienna. The Jewish population of the city was 178,000 before Germany’s occupation of Austria in March, 1938.)
