A startling declaration expressing endorsement of the Zionist movement appears today in the Voelkischer Beobachter of Berlin, chief National Socialist party organ.
Referring to reports in II Popolo D’Italia, Italian newspaper, regarding increased Zionist activities in Germany as a result of discriminations against the Jews there, the Hitler organ expresses satisfaction with Zionist activities in Berlin.
“We only hope the numerous Zionist meetings in Berlin will increase the Jewish emigration to Palestine,” the paper remarks.
