Following a stormy discussion, the Jewish Kehillah of Warsaw has decided to turn over to the medical schools bodies of unclaimed Jewish dead for dissection purposes.

The Kehillah was told that unless it agreed to this proposal, Jewish students would not be admitted to the anatomy or other medical classes. Speakers at the Kehillah meeting declared that unless the Community furnished corpses, it would result in the extinction of Jewish physicians in the future.
