A crowd of poor Warsaw Jews surrounded the communal building at Grzybowska 11 where the Kehillah offices are located. “Give us Passover aid,” they shouted.

Because of the disturbance caused, during which several members of the Executive Committee were mistreated, the police were called to restore order.
