Mayor Israel Rokach disclosed today at a Chamber of Commerce meeting that High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope has promised to accelerate the granting of a £1,000,000 (about $5,000,000) loan by the Prudential Insurance Co. for public works, extension of the Ruttenberg Electric Works beyond the Yarkon River and seashore improvements.
