Weimar Jewish Artists Dismissed by Nazi

Jewish artists, members of the Weimar State Opera Company were dismissed yesterday because they are Jews, by order of the Nazi Minister of Education.

The general musical director of the Opera, Pritorious, was dismissed because he married a Jewess. Emil Fischer, the distinguished opera singer and nine other Jewish artists were also dismissed.
