The West German Foreign Ministry decided today not to take disciplinary action against the German Ambassador to Portugal, Dr. Herbert Muller-Roschach, who worked in the Jewish Affairs section of the Nazi Foreign Ministry between November, 1941, and March, 1942. An investigation was understood to have established as unfounded an allegation that the Ambassador took part in the conference on the “final solution” to the “Jewish Question.” It was disclosed that Dr. Muller-Roschach volunteered for the Army to escape from his Foreign Ministry post.
