The Federal Minister of Justice, Gustav Heineman, today renewed his plea for abolition of the statute of limitations on the prosecution of Nazi war criminals accused of murder. The statute goes into effect on Dec. 31, 1969. Mr. Heineman said he doubted that a majority could be found for abolition in the Bundestag, West Germany’s lower house.
