Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress, said today that the WJC will hold an international convention next year and that it will consider possible structural changes in the organization. Laborite Knesset member Yitzhak Korn, head of the Political Committee of the WJC’ s Israeli Executive has suggested the creation of a “small” WJC Cabinet to run the organization’s affairs, replacing the current presidentially led setup. At a meeting of the Executive and a number of political and Jewish-affairs experts, the need for continued activity by the WJC in the drive to help Jewish communities survive was stressed. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency has learned that the WJC convention will be held somewhere in Europe in the fall of 1972.
