Women Will Open City Rummage Sale

Mrs. Fiorello H. LaGuardia and Mrs. Nathan Straus Jr. will open the annual rummage sale of the New York section of the National Council of Jewish Women this morning, it was announced by Mrs. Albert Parker, chairman of the sale committee. The sale, to be conducted at 313 West Fifty-seventh street, will be permanent instead of lasting several weeks as in the past. Proceeds will go towards the support of Council activities.

The sale committee in charge of the store includes: Mrs. Charles A. Brodek and Mrs. Arthur S. Modry, associate chairmen; Mrs. Clement S. Crystal, Mrs. Julius Wolff, Mrs. Laurence W. Stern, Mrs. Ira Leo Bamberger, Mrs. Albert Cohen, Mrs. Henry S. Hendricks, Mrs. Nathan Straus Jr. , Mrs. Alexander Tishman.
