A total of $60,985 was raised by the Women’s Division of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York at a luncheon meeting today.
Dr. Ruth Gruber Michaels, author and journalist, the guest speaker, warned of mounting evidence of neo-Nazi sentiment in Germany. She cited the recent issue of the respectable financial paper “Capital, ” published in Dusseldorf, which featured a major article headlined “Jews in the Economy.”
